The XCT062F10 valve belongs to the Pressure Reducing Valves series and is manufactured by Vickers to maintain a controlled outlet pressure in hydraulic automation circuits. It is built in nominal size 06 (3/4 in) so it fits medium line diameters, and its main port carries a G3/4 thread in accordance with ISO 228/1 for straightforward pipe work. The assembly tolerates inlet pressures up to 210 bar (3000 psi) and limits the downstream side to a maximum of 140 bar (2000 psi) to protect actuators. A pressure margin of at least 10 bar (150 psi) above the set value is required at the inlet to let the spool modulate accurately. With a rated flow of 114 L/min (30 US gpm) the valve serves mid-capacity pumps, and reverse flow travels freely from outlet to inlet to avoid pressure trapping. Installation is simplified because the mounting attitude is unrestricted.
The valve operates in ambient temperatures from −20 °C to +70 °C, and petroleum-based fluid may reach +80 °C without exceeding material limits. A G1/4 gauge port is provided so maintenance staff can monitor reduced pressure directly, while a separate G1/4 drain port returns control oil to tank and must not exceed 1.7 bar (25 psi) to keep the damping chamber stable. The lowest adjustable outlet value is 13.8 bar (200 psi), enabling low-force cylinder circuits when required. The mass is 5.9 kg, allowing one technician to position the unit during installation.
