The XCT-06-F-10 valve is part of the Pressure Reducing Valves series from Vickers and is used to maintain a stable downstream pressure in hydraulic automation circuits. It accepts inlet pressure up to 210 bar and supports a maximum flow of 114 L/min. Regulation begins once the inlet exceeds the outlet by at least 10 bar, and the outlet can be reduced to a minimum of 13.8 bar. Primary and actuator ports share a G3/4 BSPP thread for straightforward piping. During assembly, the cover screws require 48 to 58 Nm of torque, and the adjustment locknut needs 15 to 25 Nm. The valve body weighs 5.9 kg, allowing manual installation without lifting equipment.
The drain port is limited to 1.7 bar and uses a G1/4 BSPP thread, the same size provided on the gauge port for pressure checks. Petroleum-based fluids can be run between −20 and +80 °C, while water-containing fluids must remain within +10 to +54 °C. Recommended viscosity is 13 to 54 cSt, and operation is permissible anywhere from 13 to 500 cSt to accommodate different fluid types. These temperature and viscosity limits support consistent spool movement and reliable pressure control across varied hydraulic media.
