The unit installs through a thread mount with SAE straight thread so it can be positioned directly in a manifold or line block. A dedicated 1/4 NPTF gauge port lets technicians verify the regulated pressure during commissioning. Nitrile seals maintain leakage control while remaining compatible with petroleum-based hydraulic oils.
A built-in check valve permits reverse flow, allowing cylinder return oil to bypass the reducing function without additional components. No electrical connection is required because the valve operates purely hydraulically, simplifying wiring inside the machine. System cleanliness must meet ISO 4406 code 19/17/14 to prevent spool sticking and wear. The design omits a hi-vent spring, so venting relies on upstream conditions rather than an auxiliary spring element. Inlet pressure may reach 3000 psi, giving the valve adequate headroom before reduction occurs.
