The XCG101630 valve is part of the Pressure Reducing Valves series produced by Vickers for hydraulic automation systems that require stable downstream pressure. It is pilot operated, so the inlet pressure controls a smaller pilot stage before shifting the main spool, and the internal layout follows a two-stage concept to improve response accuracy. The unit mounts on subplate or manifold patterns and uses size 10 cavities, allowing straightforward integration into modular blocks. A screw with a locknut sets the outlet pressure, and the adjustable range reaches 1000 psi so operators can tune the circuit for mid-pressure branches. During operation it accommodates 189 liters per minute without exceeding its flow capability, while the design safely contains a supply up to 3000 psi.
An integrated check valve lets reverse flow bypass the reducing function when required, and the assembly has no electrical connection because it relies solely on hydraulic signals. The valve handles petroleum-based oils and maintains system cleanliness by tolerating contamination levels no worse than 19/17/14. Nitrile seals confine the medium within the body, and a 1/4 NPTF gauge port thread provides an easy location for pressure monitoring instruments. There is no hi-vent spring in this model, eliminating the need for periodic vent spring maintenance.
