The DGMX2-2-PB-RW-B-40 valve belongs to the Pressure Reducing Valves series from Vickers and is installed to keep downstream pressure stable in hydraulic automation circuits. It combines pressure reducing and relieving action in one body and is pressure-operated, so inlet pressure shifts the spool without external pilots. A screw and locknut device lets technicians set the reduced pressure and secure the setting. Flow is reduced in line P and sensed from line B, a route identified by the PB model code. The unit follows the ISO 4401-02 pattern and mounts on subplate or manifold surfaces for quick service in modular systems.
The valve tolerates inlet pressures up to 250 bar (3600 psi) while regulating flow rates to 30 L/min, or 7.9 US gpm, without excessive drop. Viton seals withstand the thermal and chemical properties of petroleum oils, the specified fluid medium. Reliable operation requires fluid cleanliness no worse than ISO 4406 class 19/17/14 to prevent wear of metering edges. Consistent performance is maintained between –20 °C and 70 °C, covering typical industrial and mobile environments.
