The SQP01-3-1A23-16-S87 vane pump is produced by Vickers within the Low Noise SQP Vane Pumps series to provide controlled hydraulic flow for automated machinery. It installs with foot mount code 23, positioning the base at 3 o’clock for straightforward frame attachment. Fluid enters through a 1-1/4 in suction port and exits a 3/4 in delivery port located opposite the inlet. The drive shaft rotates clockwise from the shaft end and connects to the prime mover by a Type 1 parallel key. At 1000 rpm and 0.7 MPa the unit delivers 10.2 L/min, yet it maintains reliable operation down to 600 min-1. When mineral oil is used, the cartridge tolerates speeds up to 1800 min-1 without excess noise or wear.
For fire-resistant media, the maximum permissible speed is 1200 min-1 with either phosphate ester or water glycol to keep internal clearances lubricated. Working pressure capability reaches 17.5 MPa on mineral oil and 14 MPa when phosphate ester or water glycol is chosen, so circuit relief settings must follow the selected fluid. The pump’s 19.0 kg mass adds stability to the mounted assembly and limits vibration in continuous service. By combining these speed limits, pressure ratings, and the low-noise vane design, the SQP01-3-1A23-16-S87 supports hydraulic automation across equipment that demands different fluid chemistries while preserving predictable performance.
