The PBDG4V3-2N-MWB-40 valve is part of the Directional Control Valves series produced by Vickers for hydraulic automation circuits. This single-stage unit directs fluid flow by shifting a spool that is solenoid operated, enabling remote electrical actuation. A 110 VAC coil rating at 50 Hz supports regions using that mains frequency, while a 120 VAC coil rating at 60 Hz covers North American supplies. Electrical load is limited to 61 VA at 50 Hz and 58 VA at 60 Hz so panel designers can size power sources accordingly. Wiring is routed through a 1/2 in NPT housing that offers strain relief, and flying leads are provided as the connector type to simplify termination in junction boxes.
Subplate or manifold mounting allows the valve to drop into standardized hydraulic bases, and the ISO 4401-03 (D03) interface aligns port patterns for direct interchange with other D03 components. The design handles flow rates up to 80 L/min without excessive pressure loss, and the pressure rating of 350 bar on ports P, A, and B matches demanding industrial systems. The tank port is limited to 210 bar to safeguard return lines. A no-spring detented arrangement keeps the spool in its last shifted position until power is reapplied, while a plain manual override lets technicians shift the valve during commissioning or loss of power. Viton seals are fitted to resist common hydraulic oils and elevated temperatures.
