The PBDG4S4L012A50 valve belongs to the Directional Control Valves series and is produced by Vickers for directing flow in hydraulic automation loops. It is solenoid operated, so an electric signal moves the spool without manual effort. The valve follows the ISO 4401-05 interface, letting it bolt to common subplate patterns, and it is intended for subplate or manifold mounting to save piping space. A single-stage construction keeps the flow path short, while the number 2 closed-center spool blocks all ports in neutral to hold actuators in position. A spring-offset mechanism returns the spool when the coil is de-energized. The unit withstands a maximum operating pressure of 3000 psi, and its tank port is limited to 1000 psi to protect return-line components. An Instaplug male and female receptacle provides the electrical connection for quick replacement during maintenance. The valve is compatible with petroleum oils, and acceptable fluid cleanliness is ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to limit wear on the precision spool fit. Minimum and maximum working temperatures are 20 °C (70 °F) and 50 °C (122 °F), defining the allowable ambient and fluid range for stable operation. Overall length of 9.500 in and width of 2.810 in let the assembly fit compact manifold blocks and confined machine frames.
