The KBSDG4V392L40PH7H710 valve is manufactured by Vickers within the Directional Control Valves series for use in automated hydraulic circuits where directional flow must be set by an electrical reference. It accepts a 4–20 mA command signal so a standard current loop can position the spool proportionally. A fixed input impedance of 100 Ω stabilizes that loop, and the internal electronics draw power from a 24 V DC supply. To protect those electronics the common-mode voltage is limited to 18 V, the enable threshold is no lower than 8.5 V, and the disable threshold removes drive when the rail drops to 6.5 V. A ±10 V DC monitor output mirrors the control state for external diagnostics. Coil current is modulated at 10 kHz, giving a step response of 17 ms when driven from 0 to 100 percent and 16 ms when returning to zero, so the valve can follow fast command changes without overshoot.
The unit mounts on an ISO 4401-03-02-0-94 (D03) interface, allowing direct installation on common manifold plates used in machinery. Ports P, A, and B tolerate pressures up to 350 bar (5000 psi), while the T port can safely carry 105 bar (1500 psi) back to tank, defining the maximum working envelope for circuit designers. Continuous energization is permitted by a 100 percent duty factor, and peak supply demand remains within 3 A so standard 24 V power modules can be used. The housing is sealed to IP65 and IP67, preventing dust ingress and allowing temporary immersion, which simplifies placement in wash-down or outdoor environments. These pressure, mounting, electrical, and environmental ratings together establish a valve suited to precision flow direction in industrial automation without the need for external cooling or auxiliary enclosures.
