The KBFDG4V-3-2C20N-Z-M1-PC7-H7-12-EN119 valve belongs to the Directional Control Valves series and is manufactured by Vickers for closed-loop hydraulic automation where precise flow direction is required. The unit operates on a 24 V DC supply so it can be powered directly from standard mobile or industrial control buses, while a ±10 V DC command signal lets the controller produce proportional spool movement without signal scaling. Current draw is limited to 3 A, keeping power electronics sizing predictable. A 10 kHz PWM carrier minimizes dither noise and promotes smooth positioning. Dynamic changes are handled within 17 ms from 0 to 100 percent command, supporting fast axis correction in servo systems. When centered, all ports are closed to hold actuators stationary until a command is issued, and the meter-in/meter-out spool design regulates both acceleration and deceleration symmetrically. There is no manual override, so all actuation is electronic to prevent unintended flow shifts during maintenance.

Installation follows the ISO 4401-03 (NFPA D03/CETOP 3) interface, allowing the valve to bolt directly to common subplates without additional adapters. It passes 20 L/min at a 5 bar differential, providing adequate flow for medium-size cylinders while keeping the pressure drop at that load to only 5 bar for energy efficiency. The pressure envelope extends to 350 bar on ports P, A, and B, supporting high-force applications such as clamping or press feeds. An IP65/IP67 housing seals out dust and water jets, which protects internal electronics in wash-down or outdoor machinery. Fluorocarbon seals withstand high temperature and aggressive hydraulic fluids, extending service life. Electrical connection is made through a 7-pin PC7 interface supplied without a plug so plant-specific cable sets can be fitted. The assembly weighs 3.1 kg, light enough for manifold mounting yet substantial enough to resist vibration and hydraulic shock.
