The KBDG4V-3-2C13N-Z-M2-PE7-H7-10 valve belongs to the Directional Control Valves series and is produced by Vickers for closed-loop hydraulic automation. It directs flow to actuators while maintaining proportional response to an electrical input. The unit mounts on an ISO 4401-03 (ANSI/B93.7 D03) interface, allowing interchange with standard sub-plates. A 2C spool keeps all ports closed at null, and N-class metering provides meter-in and meter-out control for smooth acceleration and deceleration. Under rated conditions the valve passes 13 L/min (3.43 US gpm). Pressure at the P, A, and B ports can reach 350 bar (5000 psi), whereas the L port is limited to 10 bar (150 psi). The solenoid electronics operate from a 24 VDC supply and accept a 4–20 mA command signal across a 100 Ω input impedance.
Internal drive circuitry is modulated at a 10 kHz PWM frequency, which reduces dither and improves resolution. Current drawn from the power source does not exceed 3 A during full stroke operation. When the L port is not connected to tank, the T port may handle up to 105 bar (1500 psi); with the L line returned, allowable T port pressure rises to 210 bar (3000 psi). In service environments that demand ingress protection, the enclosure meets both IP65 and IP67, letting it withstand water jets and temporary immersion. The electronics recognize a threshold command of 0.25 V, so smaller signals are ignored, and the valve only becomes active once the enable line sees at least 8.5 V. These parameters help maintain predictable positioning and pressure control in hydraulic circuits.
