The KBDG4V-3-2C13N-M2-PE7-H7-10 valve is part of the Directional Control Valves series from Vickers and directs hydraulic flow for automated machinery. Its spool rests with all ports closed so the circuit remains isolated when no command is present. A spring-centered dual-solenoid arrangement returns the spool to center without external assistance after each cycle. When shifted, the spool passes up to 13 L/min (3.43 USgpm), supporting moderate actuator speeds. Meter-In/Meter-Out metering lets designers regulate both the inflow and outflow of oil for consistent velocity control. The P, A, and B ports withstand 350 bar (5000 psi), while the T port is rated for 105 bar (1500 psi) to protect the reservoir line. Installation uses an ISO 4401-03 (ANSI/B93.7M D03) interface so the valve fits common subplates, and an IP65/IP67 enclosure shields the internal driver against dust and water.
The driver board accepts a 4–20 mA command input labeled M2, allowing proportional positioning based on loop current. Input impedance is 100 Ω, ensuring the control source sees a stable load. Solenoids are energized by a 10 kHz PWM carrier that smooths force output and limits audible noise. Electronics run from a 24 VDC supply and can draw up to 3 A during peak flow shifts. A ±10 VDC monitor signal tracks full stroke movement so maintenance staff can verify performance in real time. Wiring is completed through a 7-pin plug with a supplied mating half designated PE7, which simplifies field replacement. EMC immunity of 10 V/m according to EN 61326-2 lets the valve operate reliably alongside high-frequency drives and other industrial sources.
