The DGV4V 3 2N MU M7 30 valve is manufactured by Vickers as part of the Directional Control Valves series. It routes hydraulic flow in automated circuits where precise on-off control is required. The unit is solenoid operated, allowing electrical signals to shift the spool. An ISO 4401-03 mounting interface and D03 (NG6) size classification let the valve fit standard subplates. Installation is subplate or manifold mounted to minimize external plumbing. The rated flow capacity is 80 L/min, so the internal passages support moderate system volumes. Pressures up to 350 bar are permitted at ports P, A, and B, while the tank port is limited to 210 bar.
Electrical power draw is 30 W, and the coil mates with an ISO 4400 DIN 43650 connector, so replacement coils and cables are readily available in control panels. Internally, spool code 2 establishes the crossover pattern, and a no-spring detented arrangement keeps the spool locked in the last shifted state even when the coil is de-energized, a feature useful for memory circuits. Viton seals resist swelling at elevated oil temperatures and maintain leakage control over long duty cycles while the valve handles petroleum oils as the approved medium. System reliability depends on fluid cleanliness of 19/17/14 or better, reducing silting around metering lands. Continuous service is allowed between −20 °C and 70 °C, enabling seasonal outdoor operation without supplemental heating or cooling equipment.
