The DG4V36CMWB40S324 valve is part of the Directional Control Valves series from Vickers and is intended to shift hydraulic flow between circuits in automated machinery. It employs a single-stage spool design to deliver direct and predictable response without a pilot section. Subplate or manifold mounting allows the body to be removed without disturbing pipe work, while the ISO 4401-03 interface ensures compatibility with CETOP 03 standard subplates. The valve can pass up to 80 l/min (21 gpm), so it suits medium-capacity actuators. Ports P, A, and B are rated for 350 bar (5000 psi), permitting use in high-pressure supply and work lines, whereas the tank port is limited to 210 bar (3000 psi) to protect the return circuit. Continuous service is supported between −20 °C (−4 °F) and +70 °C (158 °F), allowing installation in both cold start and elevated ambient conditions.

Actuation is provided by solenoid B located at the port B end; its coil operates on 24 V DC and consumes 30 W, supplying the magnetic force needed to shift the spool under load. A 1/2 in NPT flying lead offers a straightforward electrical connection that accepts standard conduit fittings. A plain manual override lets maintenance personnel move the spool mechanically during setup or when power is unavailable. The valve is intended for use with petroleum-based hydraulic oils, and system filtration must maintain cleanliness at ISO 4406 code 19/17/14 or better to preserve spool clearances and solenoid integrity. Together these characteristics define the electrical, service, and fluid requirements for reliable directional control in industrial hydraulic systems.
