The DG4V36ALMUHL760 valve is produced by Vickers for the Directional Control Valves series and directs hydraulic oil to selected actuators in automated machinery. It is solenoid operated, allowing electrical signals from a controller to shift the spool without manual effort. A 24 VDC coil energizes the solenoid so it can be powered directly from common machine control circuits. Power consumption is limited to 18 W, minimizing heat generation inside the control cabinet. An ISO 4400 (DIN 43650) connector provides a standardized electrical interface that simplifies wiring and replacement. When local actuation is needed, a plain manual override lets technicians move the spool during commissioning or power loss. The hydraulic interface follows the ISO 4401-03 pattern, so the valve fits interchangeably on compliant subplates. That mount is subplate or manifold style, and a spring-centered arrangement returns the spool to its neutral position when the coil is de-energized.

The valve handles a rated flow of 80 L/min, enabling medium-capacity circuits to operate cylinders or motors without excessive pressure drop. A maximum pressure rating of 350 bar permits use in high-pressure systems, while the tank port is limited to 210 bar to protect return-line components. The internal passages are designed for petroleum oils, ensuring compatibility with the most common hydraulic fluids. Hydraulic cleanliness must not exceed ISO 4406 class 19/17/14, which prevents spool wear and sticking. Viton seals contain the fluid and tolerate aggressive additives and elevated temperatures. Operation is allowed down to –20 °C, supporting cold-start conditions in unheated facilities, and up to 70 °C for continuous running in warm environments. Together, these limits keep seal elasticity and oil viscosity within safe ranges and maintain reliable directional control over the entire specified temperature span.
