OS Steering Units

The OS Steering Units series is a family of hydrostatic steering control units for off-road vehicle steering systems, with variants configured for open-center, closed-center, and load-sensing arrangements. Across the series, the units use a rotary meter and spool-and-sleeve control section to meter oil to the steering cylinder in proportion to steering wheel input, and selected versions incorporate integrated valve functions such as relief, shock, suction, and check valves. The product family includes both reaction and non-reaction designs, as well as static and dynamic load-sensing versions, so the steering behavior and hydraulic interface can be matched to the machine system. Higher-flow versions are available for applications requiring larger steering displacement, and certain configurations are intended to work with priority valves or flow amplifiers as part of the overall steering circuit.
