The 83014624 pump belongs to the Open Circuit Piston Pumps series and is manufactured by Danfoss for variable-flow hydraulic automation. Its displacement of 100 cm³ per revolution establishes the flow range required by cylinders and motors in mobile equipment. A continuous rated pressure of 310 bar allows sustained power transmission without derating. Pressure-compensated, load-sensing control adjusts swashplate angle automatically, and the load sense channel begins regulation at 20 bar to prevent excess energy draw. Suction fluid enters through a 2.5 in four-bolt split flange inlet that maintains rigid piping and limits inlet restriction. Drive torque is introduced via a 1.5 in straight-key shaft, and the unit is configured for clockwise rotation to match standard engine take-offs.
The housing mounts with an SAE-C four-bolt flange, giving direct and secure alignment on power train pads. An SAE-B 13-tooth auxiliary mount permits an additional gear pump to be stacked for steering or pilot functions. Discharge oil exits through a 1.25 in four-bolt split flange outlet that withstands pressure pulsations. The internal pressure compensator is preset to 210 bar so circuit relief events occur at a controlled level below the continuous rating. A single Viton shaft seal retains fluid and tolerates thermal cycling and synthetic oils. Electronic trimming is triggered by a 12 VDC solenoid that actuates the control valve for rapid response to operator commands.
