The 83013349 open circuit piston pump is manufactured by Danfoss as part of the Open Circuit Piston Pumps series. Designed to supply regulated hydraulic energy in mobile and industrial systems, it uses pressure compensated control to automatically trim displacement and keep delivery consistent. A geometric displacement of 90 cm³ per revolution determines the volume transferred with each shaft turn, while a continuous input speed limit of 2200 rpm defines the maximum driveline speed under steady load. At rated conditions the pump delivers 198 l/min, providing adequate flow for proportional valves and large cylinders. System pressure capability reaches 260 bar, and the compensator is set to relieve at 250 bar so excess load is bypassed before components are overstressed. When operated at maximum displacement the drive must supply 1.433 N·m of torque for every bar of outlet pressure, allowing accurate sizing of the prime mover. Rotation is counter-clockwise, which governs shaft orientation and hose routing during installation.

Mechanical interfaces are arranged for straightforward mounting and circuit plumbing. The front flange follows the SAE-C four-bolt pattern, and the keyed input shaft is a 14-tooth, 12/24 pitch spline that mates with common diesel engine couplings. An auxiliary mount with an SAE-A nine-tooth drive pad allows the attachment of a secondary pump without additional brackets. Fluid enters through a 2-inch split flange port with 0.5-inch threads, ensuring low inlet velocity, and exits through a 1-inch split flange port with 0.375-inch threads to maintain line pressure integrity. Control response is influenced by a 1.0 mm gain orifice that meters pilot flow to the compensator spool. A single Viton shaft seal keeps oil from escaping around the drive interface and resists high-temperature fluids. The assembled pump weighs 32.6 kg, so lifting equipment may be needed for service, yet the mass remains suitable for mobile frames where payload is limited.
