The 83012501 open circuit piston pump is manufactured by Danfoss for the Open Circuit Piston Pumps series and supplies regulated hydraulic flow in mobile and industrial automation. A displacement of 100 cm³ per revolution sets the volume transferred per shaft turn, enabling predictable output. At its continuous speed rating of 2450 rpm, the unit can operate for long periods without overheating. The theoretical flow reaches 245 L/min to satisfy medium-capacity circuits. Pressure-compensated control reduces swashplate angle when line pressure rises, holding system pressure steady. A maximum continuous pressure capability of 310 bar supports heavy-duty service life. The 14-tooth, 12/24-pitch input shaft accepts common splined couplings for reliable torque transfer. An SAE-C 4-bolt mounting flange aligns the housing with standard power take-offs, and counterclockwise rotation, viewed from the shaft end, matches typical engine drive orientation.
A maximum pressure limit of 400 bar withstands brief overloads without structural damage. The compensator begins to throttle flow at a PC setting of 210 bar to protect downstream components. An adjustable displacement limiter lets technicians cap maximum flow when full capacity is unnecessary, while a 1.0 mm gain orifice moderates pilot flow for stable pressure control response. Fluid enters through a 4-bolt split-flange inlet sized at 2.5 inches with 0.5-inch threads to minimize suction losses, and exits through a 1.25-inch split-flange outlet with identical thread size for a tight pressure connection. SAE O-ring boss housing ports provide leak-free attachment points for case drain and sensors, and a single Viton shaft seal resists hot hydraulic oil and prevents external leakage.
