The 83012405 pump is part of the Open Circuit Piston Pumps series from Danfoss and supplies hydraulic power to automated machinery. Its displacement of 147 cc per revolution defines the volume moved each turn, while a continuous input speed limit of 2100 rpm sets the safe running speed. The unit sustains 260 bar continuous pressure, and the pressure compensator is set to 260 bar to modulate flow at that level. For short overloads, the design tolerates 350 bar maximum working pressure. A standard gain orifice stabilizes the compensator response across the flow range. The mounting interface is an SAE-C four-bolt flange, and clockwise rotation matches typical engine drives.
Power is transmitted through a 14-tooth 12/24 pitch main shaft that mates with standard splined couplings. The pump uses PC/LS control with a 0.3 mm bleed orifice to adjust displacement according to system load. The load sense circuit is preset to 20 bar so the control begins reducing flow as differential pressure rises above that value. There is no choke orifice, which leaves the pilot passages fully open. Fluid enters through a 2.5 inch four-bolt split flange inlet port and exits through a 1.25 inch four-bolt split flange outlet port. Housing ports use SAE O-ring connections to route case drain oil back to tank without leakage. A single Viton shaft seal keeps the working fluid inside and blocks contaminants.
