A radial port layout directs lines perpendicular to the shaft, reducing hose bend radius in confined equipment bays. Installation is handled by a SAE-C four-bolt flange that mounts directly to engine bell housings. Torque passes through a 14-tooth 12/24-pitch spline, preventing slip under load reversals, and a single Viton shaft seal retains oil while withstanding elevated temperatures. The housing incorporates SAE O-ring ports to limit leakage during pressure cycling. Fluid enters through a 2-inch inlet, and a 0.5-inch inlet thread allows auxiliary fittings such as case drains. Pressurized oil leaves a 1-inch outlet, while a 0.375-inch outlet thread is available for instrumentation. These connection sizes align with common hose and tube standards, simplifying field service.
