The compensator is preset at 260 bar so displacement is reduced when outlet pressure reaches that level, while a 20 bar load sense margin maintains stable differential pressure across valves. Continuous operation is permitted up to 310 bar. Clockwise rotation must be observed for correct internal timing, and a Viton shaft seal resists common hydraulic fluids and elevated temperatures to prevent leakage.
Installation is aided by a SAE-C four-bolt front flange that mates with standard power-take-off pads, and a four-bolt split flange outlet interface that endures high pressure. Housing ports use SAE O-ring connections for straightforward case drain plumbing. The inlet port is 2.5 inches to limit suction losses, while the outlet port is 1.25 inches for balanced discharge flow. Auxiliary ports with 0.5 inch threads accept gauges or sensors. The drive shaft employs a 12/24 pitch with 14 teeth, allowing direct coupling to common spline hubs without adapters.
