The 7000051 piston pump belongs to the Open Circuit Piston Pumps series and is produced by Danfoss. It delivers 130 cc per revolution to supply actuators in hydraulic automation systems. A pressure-compensated, load-sensing control balances flow against demand and keeps the circuit at 310 bar through its pressure compensation setting. Once the 20 bar load-sense signal is satisfied, the control trims swash-plate angle to cut excess flow, limiting heat generation. The same 310 bar value defines the maximum continuous working pressure so downstream components can be sized accurately. A standard gain orifice governs the control loop response, while no choke orifice is installed, preserving natural transient behavior. Rotation is clockwise for compatibility with right-hand power takeoffs. The design omits a displacement limiter, permitting full stroke use, and a torque limiter is not included, so prime-mover management is handled externally.
A SAE-C 4-bolt mounting flange secures the pump to engines or gearboxes, and drive torque is transferred through a 17-tooth, 12/24-pitch spline. A single Viton shaft seal contains fluid under high temperature and pressure. Fluid enters through a 2.5 inch 4-bolt split-flange inlet that uses 0.5 inch fasteners, reducing inlet restriction at high flow. Discharge exits by way of a 1.25 inch 4-bolt split-flange outlet that shares the same bolt size for consistent tooling. All housing connections use SAE O-ring ports to simplify line fabrication and reduce leakage paths. These interface details streamline installation in mobile or stationary hydraulic systems where service speed and standardized fittings are important.
