The 148B5740 valve is manufactured by Danfoss as part of the CHV Check Valves series for preventing reverse flow in hydraulic automation lines. It uses 50 mm socket weld connections machined from steel, allowing direct pipe attachment without threaded fittings. This check valve handles fluids in group 1 or 2 and tolerates working pressures up to 52 bar. The permissible temperature window spans from −60 °C to 150 °C, enabling use with cold refrigerants or hot hydraulic oil. An embossed one-way arrow on the body serves as a permanent flow indicator to aid correct installation. The poppet closes automatically after flow reversal, providing the single-direction function specified for this valve type. With a net weight of 3.04 kg, the housing can be supported by standard pipe clips without additional bracing.
