The ZDR6DPA7-4X/80YMV/60 pressure reducing valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth as part of the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It is used to maintain a defined downstream pressure in hydraulic automation systems by throttling flow in channel P. The valve employs a rotary knob with scale, identified as adjustment type 7, so the secondary pressure can be set precisely. It is built in nominal size 6 and follows the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern, allowing direct stacking with standard subplates. A sandwich-plate mounting style makes it suitable for integrated manifold assemblies, and a dedicated locating hole, encoded /60, aligns the block in the stack. Pilot oil is taken internally and returned externally through port Y to keep pilot flow clean and stable. Pressure reduction takes place in channel P.
The inlet side tolerates up to 350 bar, while the secondary circuit can be limited to 315 bar to protect downstream actuators. Back-pressure at port Y may reach 160 bar without affecting regulation accuracy. The maximum flow rate of 50 l/min defines the usable capacity for medium-size circuits. A G1/4 pressure gauge port, 12 mm deep, is provided for monitoring the reduced pressure. Because the valve is supplied without an integral check valve, reverse flow must be handled externally. The design functions in any installation position, aided by FKM seals that withstand typical hydraulic media. Fluid cleanliness should conform to ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to maintain reliable performance.
