It is a pilot-operated pressure relief unit intended to limit pressure in hydraulic automation circuits and protect actuators from overload. The valve fits size 6 mounting envelopes, and it installs as a sandwich plate to save manifold space. An ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern aligns the pressure, tank, and actuator ports with standard subplates, while a locating hole is present to keep the stack centered during assembly. External pilot oil draining through port T lets excess pilot flow return directly to tank and prevents back-pressure from influencing set points. Flow capability reaches 60 l/min, enabling the valve to relieve medium-sized pump outputs found in machine tools and presses. The maximum permitted oil viscosity is 800 mm²/s, allowing use with high-weight hydraulic fluids during cold starts. Sealing elements are supplied in FKM, so the valve can operate with fluids at ambient temperatures between −15 °C and 80 °C without degradation. System cleanliness must be maintained at ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to avoid spool wear and sticking. The pilot-operated design opens gradually, which stabilizes pressure fluctuations in sensitive control loops. Combining these limits with the specified flow and viscosity range ensures predictable pressure control across common industrial duty cycles.
