The ZDBT-XP3-1X/315 pressure relief valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth as part of the ZDB Pressure Relief Valves series. It limits system pressure in automated hydraulic circuits and protects downstream components. The unit is built to nominal size 6 so it matches subplates and manifolds with that flow capacity. Installation uses the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 mounting pattern, allowing direct stacking on standard NG6 interfaces. It can be placed in any orientation, which simplifies layout inside compact power units. At 2.0 kg, the valve adds minimal weight to the manifold block. The adjustable spring stage begins at 3 bar, and the pressure stage is rated for 315 bar to support medium-pressure systems. Maximum operating pressure reaches 350 bar, giving a margin for dynamic peaks above the set value. Hysteresis is limited to 5 percent of the maximum setting, so pressure recovery remains consistent during load cycles.
The hydraulic channel marked T routes directly to the tank and remains unpressurized, ensuring that excess oil is relieved without back pressure. The valve passes up to 3 l/min, a flow suited to pilot lines and small actuator branches. Mineral oil conforming to DIN 51524 types HL or HLP is specified as the working fluid to maintain seal compatibility and response accuracy. The design tolerates viscosities up to 380 mm²/s, allowing cold-start operation with heavier oils. Cleanliness must meet ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 so that the throttling edges do not erode. Fluid temperature may rise to 80 °C, while ambient temperature can reach 70 °C, enabling the valve to operate near hot reservoirs or inside closed power packs. These limits define the environmental window in which the product delivers reliable pressure relief for automated machinery.
