The ZDBT-XA8-1X/315 pressure relief valve belongs to the ZDB Pressure Relief Valves series produced by Bosch Rexroth for hydraulic automation, where it protects circuits by diverting excess fluid once the set pressure has been reached. With a size 6 body, it fits compact CETOP 03 manifolds while maintaining full flow capability. Its sandwich plate connection allows the valve to be inserted between a subplate and a directional control layer without extra piping, and the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern aligns all passages. The adjustable set pressure can be raised to 315 bar, equal to the maximum operating pressure the housing withstands. An external pilot oil drain routed to the T port isolates pilot flow from load-induced variations, and counter pressure on the return line is limited to 40 bar. Because the installation position may be any orientation, designers can mount the assembly wherever space is available.
Flow capacity reaches 60 l/min so the valve accepts moderate pump outputs without excessive loss. Fluid viscosity must remain between 10 and 800 mm²/s for reliable pilot response, and the medium temperature can rise to 80 °C without harming seals. Oil cleanliness should meet ISO 4406 (c) 20/18/15 to prevent erosion and sticking. The valve is secured with M5 mounting screws, and the hexagon head is tightened to 50 Nm to seal the sandwich layers. These limits combine to keep opening behavior consistent across varied operating conditions.
