The ZDB10VP2-4X/200 pressure relief valve belongs to the ZDB Pressure Relief Valves series and is produced by Bosch Rexroth. It limits hydraulic system pressure in automation circuits by routing excess oil to tank. The pilot-operated design provides stable regulation, and the nominal size 10 body suits medium-capacity manifolds. A relief path from port P to port TA opens when the inlet reaches 200 bar, safeguarding pumps and actuators. The housing withstands transient pressures up to 315 bar and passes up to 100 l/min without excessive rise. Back pressure in the return line may reach 40 bar while accuracy is maintained. The cartridge follows the ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 mounting pattern, and the matching NFPA interface is T3.5.1 R2-2002 D05 for compatibility with North American blocks. It can be installed in any orientation, and pressure is set with a sleeve that has a hexagon head and a protective cap.
NBR sealing elements contain mineral oils and hold the valve leak-free during continuous duty. To mount the unit, the sw30 body screws are tightened to 50 Nm, anchoring the contact face against the manifold. Adjustments use a 10 mm hex wrench that fits the sleeve’s internal drive. The mating surfaces are ground to Rz 8 µm to minimize cross-port leakage, so clean oil is essential; system fluid must meet ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to prevent debris from impairing the pilot passages. These mechanical and cleanliness requirements support consistent relief action in presses, plastic molding machines, and other automated equipment that depend on controlled pressure discharge.
