The ZDB10VB2-4X/315V valve belongs to the ZDB Pressure Relief Valves series produced by Bosch Rexroth and serves to limit pressure in hydraulic automation circuits. It is a pilot-operated pressure relief unit that integrates as a sandwich plate valve between manifold sections. The internal flow path follows the B–T relief function so excess pressure at port B is diverted to tank T. System pressure is adjusted with a sleeve that has a hexagon drive and a protective cap, which allows tamper-resistant tuning. The valve sustains operating pressures up to 315 bar and can be set to the same 315 bar maximum, permitting protection of high-pressure lines. It tolerates return-line counter pressure up to 40 bar without altering its opening point, and it can be mounted in any position to simplify installation.
The unit works with HL, HLP, HLPD, HVLP, and HVLPD fluids, giving wide compatibility with standard hydraulic oils. FKM seals resist these media and maintain leakage control across the service life. Acceptable ambient temperatures range from –15 °C to +80 °C, and the hydraulic fluid may operate within the same –15 °C to +80 °C span, allowing reliable cold starts and high-temperature operation. Viscosity limits extend from 10 mm²/s to 800 mm²/s so the pilot stage remains responsive whether the oil is light or heavy. These ranges define an operating window that keeps pressure regulation stable under varying environmental and fluid conditions.
