The ZDB10VA2-4X/315V relief valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the ZDB Pressure Relief Valves series and is intended to protect hydraulic automation circuits against overpressure. It is a pilot-operated pressure relief valve that installs as a sandwich plate between manifold sections to save space in stacked assemblies. A single pressure cartridge performs the relieving function and keeps the flow path compact. System pressure is limited to 315 bar, and the setting is altered through a sleeve with a hexagon and cap that secures the adjustment point once the desired pressure is selected.
There is no locating hole in the housing, so positioning relies on the mating surfaces of the stack. Pilot oil drains externally through port T, keeping the pilot stage free from back-pressure influence. When the set value is reached, the A–T relief function directs flow from port A to the tank line. FKM seal material is used on all sealing points to maintain containment of the hydraulic fluid during continuous duty.
