The ZDB10VA1-41-100V pressure relief valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth in the ZDB Pressure Relief Valves series. It protects hydraulic circuits by diverting excess fluid from the pressure line to tank when a preset limit is reached. The valve is built in nominal size 10, and its sandwich plate mounting allows it to be installed between a subplate and a directional valve without extra piping. Conformity with the NFPA T3.5.1 R2-2002 D05 pattern and the ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 porting layout simplifies interchange with standard manifolds, while four ports support typical P, T, A, and B channels. The A-to-TA relief function ensures only port A is safeguarded, and a maximum flow capacity of 100 l/min maintains stable system response up to the 315 bar maximum operating pressure.
Pressure adjustment is made through a type 1 rotary knob so technicians can set the opening point without tools. The valve can be tuned up to a maximum set pressure of 100 bar, matching auxiliary actuator requirements in medium-pressure machinery. FKM seals resist common hydraulic oils and many synthetic fluids, letting the unit operate over a fluid temperature window of –20 °C to +80 °C without leakage. The design accepts fluids with viscosities from 10 to 800 mm²/s, which covers cold starts and high-temperature running. Oil cleanliness should meet ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to prevent seat erosion and maintain consistent relief behavior.
