The ZDB 10 VA2-41/200V is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the ZDB Pressure Relief Valves series and is applied to limit pressure in hydraulic automation circuits. This pilot-operated pressure relief valve is supplied as a sandwich plate valve so it can be inserted between standard subplates and directional valves. A pressure rating of 200 bar defines the setpoint range, while the internal construction withstands a maximum operating pressure of 315 bar. Excess flow is routed from port A to the tank line through the A–T relief function, and pilot oil is discharged externally to the T port. Counter pressure on the tank line may reach 40 bar without affecting performance. System pressure is adjusted by a sleeve with a hexagon head that is protected by a cap, and FKM seals are used to tolerate common hydraulic media.
One pressure valve cartridge carries out the relief task, and oil cleanliness must be maintained at class 20/18/15 per ISO 4406 to prevent wear. The valve operates with fluids that meet DIN 51524 and can also be used with flame-resistant media classified under ISO 12922. It may be mounted in any position, which simplifies manifold layout, and no locating hole is provided for positional dowels. Because the body is delivered without corrosion protection, the assembly should be housed where external rust inhibitors or coatings are present.
