The Z2DBY6DD2-1X/315V/60 pressure relief valve is built by Bosch Rexroth and belongs to the ZDB Pressure Relief Valves series. As a pilot-operated pressure relief element, it protects hydraulic actuators by opening when system pressure approaches its 315 bar operating limit. The valve is supplied as a sandwich plate unit so it can be stacked between subplates and directional controls without additional piping. A size 6 body follows the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern, allowing direct mounting in standard CETOP 03 interfaces. The assembly passes up to 60 l/min while keeping differential losses low, and it tolerates counter pressures up to 40 bar in the tank line without instability.
The allowable ambient range extends from −15 °C to 80 °C, enabling use in presses or mobile machinery exposed to moderate heat or cold. Hydraulic media may reach 80 °C and viscosities as high as 800 mm²/s without compromising spool response. FKM seals resist these temperatures and common mineral oils, while the prescribed cleanliness class of ISO 4406 (c) 20/18/15 limits particle loading to maintain seat quality. The valve can be installed in any orientation, and the /60 locating hole ensures accurate alignment within a stacked manifold. This flexibility shortens commissioning times, supports compact manifold layouts, and clean running also lengthens service life of downstream actuators.
