The Z2DBY6DC3-1X/80V/60 pressure relief valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the ZDB Pressure Relief Valves series and limits system pressure in hydraulic automation. It is a pilot-operated pressure relief design in valve size 6, provided in a sandwich plate format for stacking between subplate and actuator blocks. The interface follows porting pattern ISO 4401-03-02-0-05, so it fits standard CETOP 3 manifolds without adapter plates. Two internal valve cartridges share flow paths, giving balanced response when relieving in both A–B and B–A directions. This bidirectional relief (VD) protects both service lines up to a maximum operating pressure of 315 bar. Flow capacity reaches 60 l/min, allowing the unit to serve medium-duty circuits without excessive pressure drop.
Pressure is set by a lockable rotary knob with an integral scale, simplifying adjustment while preventing unauthorized changes. Pilot oil discharges externally through port T to avoid back-pressure influence, and counter pressure at that drain may reach 40 bar. FKM seals resist common hydraulic fluids and elevated temperatures, supporting long service life. The valve may be mounted in any orientation, and a locating hole on the /60 version aligns the sandwich block during assembly. Required fluid cleanliness is ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to reduce wear on internal seats and springs. These features combine to provide consistent and predictable pressure limitation in automated hydraulic machinery.
