The Z2DB6VC7-4X/50V valve is part of the ZDB Pressure Relief Valves series from Bosch Rexroth and serves to limit hydraulic line pressure in automated machinery. It is a pilot-operated pressure relief unit in size 6 format, allowing compact installation within manifolds. As a sandwich plate valve, it fits into stack assemblies that follow the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern so the pressure inlet and tank return align with standard subplates. The A–T and B–T relief function vents either service port to tank, protecting both actuator sides. Pressure is adjusted through a rotary knob with a scale, giving clear visual reference for setpoints up to 50 bar, while the internal stage withstands operating pressures as high as 315 bar.
The valve passes up to 60 l/min without excessive loss and tolerates counter pressures of 40 bar on the tank line to suit circuits with back-pressure accumulators. Installation is flexible because any mounting orientation is permitted, and no locating hole is provided, leaving the designer free to position the body as needed. Assembly uses M5 screws per ISO 4762 tightened to 50 Nm with a hex SW24 tool, ensuring secure clamping in the sandwich stack. Fluid compatibility is supported by FKM seals, provided the oil cleanliness reaches ISO 4406 20/18/15 or better to prevent seat erosion and spool sticking.
