The Z2DB6VC2-4X/50V pressure relief valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth as part of the ZDB Pressure Relief Valves series. It regulates return flow paths in hydraulic automation circuits to keep line pressure within safe limits. The valve is pilot-operated, a design that minimizes override and promotes stable relief behavior at low flow. In size 6 format it fits compact subplates where space is limited. The sandwich plate connection style with the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern lets it stack between directional valves and subplates without extra piping. Two integrated pressure valve cartridges provide independent relief for the A–T and B–T passages, so both service ports are protected. Because the installation position can be any orientation, designers have freedom when arranging manifolds.
The hex sleeve with cap, identified as adjustment type 2, enables on-site setting of relief limits while preventing accidental tampering after commissioning. A maximum set pressure of 50 bar defines the highest relief threshold, while the assembly withstands operating line pressures up to 315 bar without structural compromise. Maximum flow capacity is 60 l/min, and counter pressure on the return line may reach 40 bar without affecting calibration. FKM seals resist common hydraulic fluids at elevated temperatures, while the cleanliness requirement of 20/18/15 per ISO 4406 ensures reliable pilot operation. The unit is supplied without dedicated corrosion protection, so exposed surfaces may require external coatings when installed in aggressive environments.
