The Z2DB6VC2-4X/315V pressure relief valve belongs to the ZDB Pressure Relief Valves series and is produced by Bosch Rexroth. It acts as a sandwich plate valve in hydraulic manifolds to protect circuits from overpressure. With size 6 porting and an ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 mounting pattern, it fits NG06 subplates without additional adapters. Two pressure valve cartridges create independent relief paths for A–T and B–T lines, so both service ports can discharge when pressure exceeds the set point. Pressure adjustment is done through a sleeve with a hexagon and protective cap, enabling secure setting changes while shielding the screw from contamination. The unit carries a pressure rating of 315 bar, which also defines its maximum operating pressure, allowing it to safeguard medium-pressure systems in mobile or industrial automation.
A maximum flow of 60 l/min lets the valve pass sufficient oil for compact actuators, while a permissible counter pressure of 40 bar in the tank line prevents malfunction when back-pressure develops downstream. The FKM seals withstand aggressive fluids and elevated temperatures common in modern hydraulic oils. Fluid cleanliness should not exceed class 20/18/15 per ISO 4406 to maintain reliable spool movement. Any installation position is allowed, simplifying manifold layout. Service work uses a 10 mm hex wrench for setting and a 24 mm across-flats socket on the adjustment sleeve, which must be tightened to 50 Nm to secure the SW24 cap.
