The Z2DB10VD2-4X/315V pressure relief valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the ZDB Pressure Relief Valves series. It is applied in hydraulic automation to limit system pressure and protect downstream components. The valve is pilot-operated so it opens proportionally to pilot pressure and delivers stable relief at high flow. It is configured for a maximum pressure of 315 bar, letting designers match it to medium-pressure circuits. Flow can be relieved in both A–B and B–A directions, providing bidirectional protection in reversible actuator lines. The sandwich plate connection format lets the unit be stacked between subplates and directional valves to save space, and two relief cartridges are integrated to accommodate parallel paths and distribute flow evenly.

Pressure setting is adjusted through a sleeve with a hexagon head that is covered by a protective cap, enabling secure tamper-resistant tuning during commissioning. Pilot oil is drained externally through port T so back pressure in the tank line does not influence the set value. FKM seals are fitted to handle common hydraulic fluids and elevated temperatures without degradation. The housing is supplied without corrosion protection, so external coating or controlled environments are recommended when moisture is present. The body is machined without a locating hole, allowing flexible orientation in stacked assemblies.
