The Z2DB10VC2-4X/315 pressure relief valve is part of the ZDB Pressure Relief Valves series from Bosch Rexroth and is installed to protect hydraulic actuators and lines from excessive pressure. This pilot-operated design opens proportionally when system pressure approaches its limit, enabling dependable control in automated hydraulic presses and machine tools. The valve is made for nominal size 10 interfaces and is mounted as a sandwich plate between subplate and directional valve stacks. An ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 porting pattern locates pressure and tank ports precisely, while two internal pressure cartridges provide separate relief paths for the A-TA and B-TB lines. The assembly supports a continuous operating pressure up to 315 bar and passes flow rates to 100 l/min without instability.
Pressure adjustment is carried out through a sleeve with a hexagon and a protective cap so settings can be locked against tampering. Seal contact surfaces use NBR material, permitting compatibility with HL, HLP, HLPD, HVLP, HVLPD, and HFC fluids when the system cleanliness is kept at ISO 4406 (c) 20/18/15 or better. The valve withstands counter pressures on the tank side up to 40 bar and can be mounted in any position, simplifying manifold layout inside power units. A sandwich stack equipped with this model remains leak-tight because the elastomer seals are matched to the specified fluid group. Maintaining the stated cleanliness class prevents pilot orifice blockage and preserves the response accuracy demanded in automated hydraulic systems.
