The 4WRZE16EB150-7X/6EG24N9K31/A1V proportional directional valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the WRZ Proportional Directional Valves series and serves to meter flow and shift direction in electronically controlled hydraulic circuits. A command value input of ±10 V drives the pilot stage so the spool moves proportionally to the control signal. The electronics are powered from a 24 V DC supply and draw up to 1.8 A during steady operation, while a 3 A power pulse current handles inrush at start-up. Nominal size 16 construction combines with a nominal flow of 150 l/min at a 10 bar differential to suit medium-capacity actuators. The main stage tolerates operating pressures to 350 bar, allowing placement in high-pressure manifolds. Maximum hysteresis is limited to 6 %, keeping the difference between input command and achieved spool position within tight bounds.
The valve mounts on an ISO 4401-07-06-0-94 interface, and the assembled unit weighs 13.6 kg when installed on a subplate. Electrical connection is made through a DIN EN 175201-804 plug, enabling fast replacement without rewiring. A concealed manual override lets technicians shift the spool mechanically during setup or fault finding. Port T can be externally drained at pressures up to 250 bar, or internally drained when back-pressure does not exceed 30 bar. Port Y is limited to 30 bar to protect the pilot return path. FKM seals are fitted to resist high-temperature oil and a broad range of hydraulic fluids.
