The 4WRZE10W6-50-7X/6EG24N9ETK31/A1D3V proportional directional valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the WRZ Proportional Directional Valves series. It modulates spool position to control flow and direction in hydraulic automation loops such as servo-controlled cylinders. The valve is built in size 10 to match CETOP 05 manifolds, and it passes 50 l/min at a 10 bar differential, allowing medium-capacity actuator circuits. Main ports tolerate working pressures up to 315 bar while the internal drain port T is limited to 30 bar, so the designer must manage tank-line back-pressure carefully. Spool movement repeatability is supported by a maximum hysteresis of 6 %, giving predictable response in closed-loop motion controls. The integral amplifier accepts a ±10 V command signal, converting it to proportional coil current; the electronic board is powered from a 24 V DC supply and draws 1.8 A under steady conditions. Continuous duty is possible because the electromagnetic system is rated for a 100 % duty cycle without overheating.

The electromagnetic assembly has a cold resistance of 2 Ω, rising to 3 Ω at maximum operating temperature, so current regulation must consider the thermal increase. During spool acceleration the drive stage can deliver a 3 A power pulse, while sustained excitation is limited by the resistances noted above. Coil insulation endures temperatures up to 150 °C, preventing damage during continuous operation at elevated ambient or oil temperatures. Environmental sealing reaches IP65, so the housing resists dust ingress and low-pressure jets of water when the DIN EN 175201-804 connector is engaged. Mechanical attachment uses a subplate interface and the unit weighs 8.0 kg, which should be accommodated when selecting mounting hardware. These construction features keep the valve reliable in harsh industrial settings while the proportional design translates electrical commands into controlled hydraulic movement.
