The 4WRZE10E85-7X/6EG24ETK31/A1D3M proportional directional valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the WRZ Proportional Directional Valves series and modulates hydraulic flow and direction in automated systems. It accepts a 24 V DC supply to energize the solenoids, while a ±10 V command signal positions the spool. Continuous energizing is possible because the duty cycle is 100%, and a cold coil resistance of 2 Ω controls inrush current. A size 6 pilot stage draws 3.5 l/min when moving from zero to full command. Wiring is made through a DIN EN 175201-804 connector, and the housing achieves IP65 protection when the mating socket is installed.
The main stage passes up to 170 l/min, whereas nominal flow is 85 l/min at a Δp of 10 bar. The body withstands 315 bar operating pressure and allows 30 bar internal return at port T. Coil insulation tolerates temperatures to 150 °C for reliable service in warm manifolds. Mounting follows porting pattern ISO 4401-05-05-0-94 so the valve fits standard size-10 subplates. Fluid cleanliness must reach 20/18/15 per ISO 4406 to protect the metering edges, and installed weight on the size-10 subplate is 8.0 kg.
