The 4WRZ25W8-325-7X/6EG24N9EK4/V proportional directional valve belongs to the WRZ Proportional Directional Valves series and is produced by Bosch Rexroth for closed-loop hydraulic control. It bolts to manifolds that follow the ISO 4401-08-07-0-94 mounting pattern so it can replace other size 25 valves without replumbing. At a 10 bar differential the spool passes a nominal flow of 325 l/min, enabling high-volume actuator circuits. The hydraulic sections tolerate a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar, allowing use on modern high-pressure power units. Electrically, each solenoid has a coil resistance of 4.8 Ω at 20 °C and accepts up to 1.5 A, matching common 24 V proportional amplifiers. Connection is made through a DIN EN 175301-803 plug, and the housing is sealed to IP65 to resist dust and water spray. The assembled valve with subplate weighs 18.2 kg, a factor when sizing support brackets.
A concealed N9 manual override allows mechanical shifting of the spool during commissioning or emergency conditions. The solenoid winding is rated for a maximum temperature of 150 °C to prevent insulation failure under continuous duty. Port T can accept up to 250 bar when an external drain is used, while port Y is limited to 30 bar to protect the case. The pilot circuit draws oil internally, eliminating an extra supply line, and returns it externally to isolate the pilot stage from tank pressure. During a 0-to-100 percent step the pilot flow is 7 l/min, providing stable motion of the main spool. FKM seals are installed to handle high temperatures and aggressive hydraulic fluids.
