The 4WRZ16W6-150-7X/6EG24N9TK4/V valve belongs to the WRZ Proportional Directional Valves series and is produced by Bosch Rexroth. It modulates spool position to direct hydraulic flow in automated machinery where continuous position control is required. A coil resistance of 4.8 Ω at 20 °C determines the voltage–current relationship for the solenoid, and a 100 percent duty cycle allows the coil to remain energized without mandatory cooling intervals. The electromagnet accepts up to 1.5 A so the associated driver must be sized accordingly, and thermal stability is maintained because the coil can tolerate temperatures up to 150 °C. The valve is designed for HL or HLP hydraulic oils specified in DIN 51524, which secures compatibility with common mineral-based fluids. Fluid viscosity must stay above 20 mm²/s to sustain lubrication, and service is permissible down to −20 °C oil temperature without loss of function. In the hydraulic circuit, the main stage withstands 350 bar, enabling use on high-pressure supply lines. At a pressure drop of 10 bar the nominal flow reaches 150 l/min, delivering adequate volume for medium-sized actuators. External tank port T can be pressurized to 250 bar, while internal tank routing is limited to 30 bar, so circuit designers must select the correct drain method. Port Y is also restricted to 30 bar, which prevents back-pressure from affecting pilot operation. Maximum viscosity is 380 mm²/s, a limit that avoids sluggish spool response during cold starts. The mounting face follows the ISO 4401-07-06-0-94 pattern, simplifying exchange with other subplate valves in the same size. An IP65 rating guards the solenoid enclosure against dust and low-pressure water jets, making the unit suitable for typical factory wash-down areas.
