The 4WRZ16E150-7X/6EG24N9EK4/M valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the WRZ Proportional Directional Valves series and regulates flow and direction in hydraulic automation circuits by shifting its spool in response to an electrical command. It operates on a 24 V DC supply so it can be driven directly from common control electronics, and the coil has a resistance of 4.8 Ω at 20 °C to establish the energizing current. A 100 % duty cycle allows the electromagnetic section to stay powered continuously, while a maximum coil temperature of 150 °C guards the winding insulation during prolonged service. Wiring is completed with a DIN EN 175301-803 connector that enables quick exchange in the field. The housing meets IP65 so dust and low-pressure water do not affect internal parts. Hysteresis is held below 6 % to minimize positional error when reversing command direction. When the pressure drop across the main stage is 10 bar the valve delivers 150 l/min, giving sufficient flow for medium-capacity actuators.
The main spool withstands 350 bar so it can be mounted on high-pressure lines without separate relief devices. The pilot circuit accepts up to 100 bar and draws 5.5 l/min between zero and full stroke, providing fast response while limiting parasitic flow. If an external drain is used, port T may carry 250 bar; with an internal drain the same port must stay below 30 bar, and port Y is also limited to 30 bar to protect seals. A 2.0 mm throttle insert in pilot lines A and B damps pressure surges and improves stability during rapid spool shifts. The complete size 16 subplate version weighs 13.4 kg, so mounting hardware must support this mass without deflection.
