The valve operates with an external pilot oil supply, and the drain is routed externally through port Y. Pilot oil flow increases to 5.5 l/min across the full command range, moving 4.6 cm³ of oil between 0 % and 100 % actuation. The pilot stage is limited to 25 bar, port Y is rated for 30 bar, and port T can accept 250 bar when fitted with an external drain, preventing excess back-pressure. This external pilot arrangement keeps the control gallery isolated from the main flow, maintaining stable spool positioning and completing the hydraulic definition of the proportional valve.
