The PP5/P1-17/2/3BM1/H0/L0 power pack belongs to the Rexroth Power Packs series and is built by Bosch Rexroth for compact hydraulic automation tasks. It supplies pressurized fluid through a single Do3 manifold station that accepts directional control valves for downstream actuators. The integrated pump delivers a displacement of 0.20 in³/rev (3.27 cm³/rev), allowing a maximum continuous flow of 1.5 GPM (5.67 L/min) for small cylinder or motor circuits. System pressure can be held up to 1900 PSI (131 bar) so equipment can perform clamping or lifting duties that demand moderate force. A steel reservoir stores 5 gal (19.0 L) of hydraulic fluid and limits corrosion in industrial environments. The tank is fitted with a -8 SAE drain port to simplify oil changes and flushing during service.
Driving the hydraulic pump is a 2 hp (1.4 kW) electric motor that operates at 1750 rpm to maintain stable flow and pressure for automated cycles. The motor is built in a 145TC frame size so it aligns directly with standard pump mounts without adapter plates. It runs on three-phase power at 60 Hz and accepts 230 or 460 V supplies, enabling installation on common plant feeds. A totally enclosed fan-cooled enclosure protects the windings from airborne oil mist and debris encountered near hydraulic machinery. The unit incorporates an in-line return filter rated at 20 µm absolute to capture particulate before fluid re-enters the reservoir and extend component life. Together, these features give the power pack dependable performance in material handling, fixture control, and other automated hydraulic stations.
