The PP5/P1-13/1-/RV/H0/L0 hydraulic power pack is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the Rexroth Power Packs series to supply pressurized oil for automated machinery. A fixed-displacement gear pump rated at 0.15 in³ per revolution (2.45 cm³ per revolution) delivers a consistent volume with each shaft turn. The pump is driven by a 1 hp (0.7 kW) electric motor that operates at 1750 rpm on a 230/460 V supply, aligning with common three-phase plant voltages. The totally enclosed fan-cooled motor enclosure protects the windings from airborne oil mist while maintaining airflow across the frame. At full speed the system reaches a maximum flow of 1.1 GPM (4.15 L/min), allowing moderate actuator movement in compact tooling circuits. System pressure can climb to 1300 psi (90 bar), establishing the upper limit for cylinder force and component selection.

Fluid storage is handled by a 5 gal (19.0 L) steel reservoir, providing thermal mass and maintaining oil reserve during peak demand. A -8 SAE drain port lets maintenance staff empty the tank without removing hosing or disturbing the main feed lines. Cleanliness is controlled by a return filter rated at 20 µm absolute, preventing wear particles from circulating back to the pump and valves. Pressure fluid leaves the unit through Connection X1, a -6 SAE fitting sized for the system’s rated flow, simplifying hose selection and reducing leakage risk. Connection X2 is a larger -12 SAE port dedicated to the return line so backflow meets minimal restriction before entering the reservoir. Together these port configurations complete the hydraulic circuit and allow straightforward integration into assembly fixtures and mobile service skids.
