The PP5/G2008/3/RV/H2/L0 power pack is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the Rexroth Power Packs series. It supplies pressurized fluid for hydraulic automation tasks through a gear pump that displaces 0.50 in³ per revolution (8.20 cm³/rev). The pump delivers up to 3.5 GPM (13.25 L/min) while working against pressures as high as 1240 psi (85 bar). A 3 hp, 3-phase electric motor in the 182TC frame turns at 1750 rpm to drive the pump directly. The reservoir holds 5 gallons (19.0 L) of hydraulic oil to maintain volume and cooling, and an –8 SAE drain port simplifies fluid changes. Over-pressure protection is provided by a relief valve with an integrated gauge for immediate system feedback.
Thermal control is supplied by an air/oil heat exchanger, part number R978809109, identified as type H2 to maintain oil temperature during continuous duty cycles. Clean return flow is assured by a 20 µ absolute filter element mounted in the return line. Connection points are arranged with a –6 SAE pressure port at X1, a –12 SAE return port at X2, and a –8 JIC service port at X3, enabling direct hookup to standard hoses and test equipment. The integrated design confines all components within a compact assembly, allowing the stated flow and pressure to be reached without external accessories while keeping maintenance points clearly accessible.
